In 2026, there will be four eclipses — two Solar Eclipses and two Lunar Eclipses. Out of these, only one Lunar Eclipse will be visible in India. The remaining three eclipses will occur toward the north-western part of the Earth, affecting that region more significantly.
You may have noticed that in recent times, most eclipses have not been visible in India. Although the impact of an eclipse is considered to affect everyone — both where it is visible and where it is not — the effect is believed to be stronger and more noticeable in the places where the eclipse is actually seen.
The zodiac sign or constellation (Nakshatra) in which the eclipse occurs may also experience its influence. Individuals belonging to that particular sign may feel its effects.
The first eclipse will occur on 17 February 2026, which will be a Solar Eclipse.
The second eclipse will occur on 3 March 2026, which will be a Lunar Eclipse. This eclipse will also be visible in India.
The third eclipse will occur on 12 August 2026, which will be a Solar Eclipse. This will not be visible in India and will have a stronger impact in the north-western regions of the Earth.
After that, another eclipse will occur on 28 August 2026.
From 26 July to 10 December 2026, Saturn will remain in retrograde motion. Jupiter is currently in an irregular transit phase (Atichar). This is considered a period during which a major earthquake, natural disaster, or even a war related to the oceans could potentially begin.
When eclipse combinations form that indicate possible adverse events, such occurrences are believed to be difficult to alter. However, one can remain cautious. Due to good karma, divine blessings and support may help individuals during times of crisis.
Therefore, during both Solar Eclipses, it is advised to recite the Ganesh Atharva path.
In the coming time, problems related to employment, work, and business may increase. There may also be a major disruption related to technology, which could lead to difficulties in business and medical sectors.
