July 29, 2022
At the very beginning of 2026, the planetary positions are not considered very auspicious. The year will start with both a Solar Eclipse and a Lunar Eclipse, indicating instability and sudden changes. Later, in August 2026, there will again be a Solar Eclipse and a Lunar Eclipse.
Out of these four eclipses, only one eclipse will be visible in India. The Lunar Eclipse occurring on 3rd March 2026 will be visible in India, while the remaining eclipses will largely affect other parts of the world.
Throughout the entire year, Rahu will remain in Aquarius (Kumbh Rashi). During September and October, a significant 6/8 (Shadashtak) relationship between Mars and Rahu will form. This planetary combination is considered unfavorable not only for individuals but also for global and political stability. During this period, major political upheavals or unexpected events may occur across nations.
In October, the Sun will be in a weak position. At the same time, Rahu will aspect the Sun through its ninth aspect, and Mars will aspect the Sun through its fourth aspect. Due to this intense planetary pressure, there is a possibility of an unpleasant or serious incident involving a prominent political leader. The impact of these events is likely to be felt more strongly in the western direction and western parts of the world.
The eclipses in August 2026 will occur with the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius and the Lunar Eclipse in Cancer. During this period, Jupiter will be combust due to its proximity to the Sun, further reducing stability and wisdom-based decision-making. The months of September and October may prove challenging, especially for individuals whose Moon sign or Ascendant is Aquarius.
However, this phase is not only about challenges. This period can also mark the beginning of something new.
If you are employed, you may consider starting a new business or side venture.
If you are already in business, you may introduce new ideas, expansions, or changes.
That said, these new beginnings will require patience, perseverance, and intense hard work. Results will not come immediately, but long-term transformation is indicated.
The year 2026 is a year of transition—both for individuals and for the world. Since most eclipses during this phase are influencing western regions, it is possible that major global changes may unfold towards the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027.
Due to the strong influence of Mars and Rahu, there is also a possibility of major accidents, widespread health issues, or serious incidents affecting large populations.
To reduce the negative effects of Rahu and to overcome confusion, fear, and instability caused by planetary disturbances, it is advised that everyone chants the Beej Mantra of Goddess Saraswati. Rahu creates confusion and illusion, while Saraswati represents clarity, wisdom, and right direction.
It is true that unfavorable planetary positions do show their impact. However, sincere prayer and devotion always provide protection and timely help. When we pray with a pure heart, divine grace safeguards us—even during the most challenging planetary phases.
